'ECC-Net: Travel', a handy app from the ECC-Net helps travellers in 25 languages

Especially for the summer holidays the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) launches a unique mobile application: the 'ECC-Net: Travel' App. It is an indispensable travel companion inside the European Union as well as in Iceland and Norway: the application helps consumers to cope with difficult situations on their holiday abroad and to express their consumer rights in the language of the destination country. The ECC-Net: Travel App provides legal knowledge and language support in 23 EU languages plus Norwegian and Icelandic.The app provides assistance on different topics:
- retail purchases
- car rental
- hotel accommodation
- medical treatment
- air and rail transport as well as bus and marine travel
A section with useful information offers important phone numbers and contact details for every day emergencies.
The app is free of charge and works offline to avoid the roaming trap. It is available for mobile devices with iOS, Android and Microsoft Windows operating systems and can be downloaded by clicking on the following links:
